Absolutely delicious, really wonderful, pleasant staff and owners. Full bar, outside dining, knowledgable, accommodating waiters and chef - lots of seafood, very homemade and fresh.

Found this place on Yelp looking for food after visiting Jupiter Island. All of the staff was smiling and happy. Lovely decor, very simple. We were only there for a snack but first ended up with the Lobster Bisque. It is serves with Sherry and Oyster crackers. Let me tell you...I would eat this every day of the week regardless of the calories! Drip some sherry in, add a few crackers and enjoy! Hubby had a burger which he found divine and I had the Barbeque Shrimp which was BETTER. Serves with scampi butter and barbecue sauce and wrapped in bacon...My only critique was the hard (potato?) that was wrapped around the shrimp. Overkill and it made it hard to eat. Once you got through that though, the warm bacon and shrimp with a dab of the butter and the sauce...mouthwatering. Had a Chardonnay...kind of pricey but good. They know what they are doing.

I really enjoyed the panko grouper. It was the entire meal from the refreshing cucumbers to the coconut rice that really was so good. The other thing we had was the lobster reuben, a concoction of lobster on rye bread with cheese and sauerkraut. We at at 3 so there was no wait and no one else in the restaurant but service was good. I didn't like the peach sangria that much so I'd try the merlot sangria the next time. It is right up the street from the Hobe Sound Beach. Very convenient and seemed like a nice short getaway.

We were looking for a quick lunch on our way to my brother's house. After checking on yelp we settled on this place. As soon as we pulled up I knew this was my kinda place! Outdoor seating, bar seating and hi toppers inside. The gals that greeted us were vivacious. My son got the bbq shrimp and I had the lobster Ruben. The food did not disappoint. It was only one lunch but I would definitely come here again.

Stopped here on out way to Jupiter from Jensen Beach. Great little spot. We saw it driving down and had to do a U-turn to come back. Great seating outside. We just had drinks. But the staff were very friendly.

I went here on Sunday since I do not know Hobe Sound well I have to rely on Brian's choices for places to eat and this by far was his best pick so far... I loved this place... From the outside it looks like a beach side dive but once you walk in its really cute with nice tables and decorations the owners are very sweet and the service was great... I had the Grouper Dogs since they said they just caught it fresh the other day and it was amazing I opted for the fresh fruit because I try and watch what I eat and even the fruit was very fresh and organic.. Brian had the Ribs and he loved them, they were falling right off the bone.. This place is a total 5 Star dining experience with a casual laid back beachy vibe... I will def come back here again....

Found Flash Beach on a Monday when everybody else was closed- a great find! They cooked our catch 3 ways, cute tablescapes. Open Fri-Mon during the off-season.

This place was a gem. So cute and eclectic in decor and the food was excellent. Had the grouper dog, it was perfectly crunchy and tasty. The french fries were a mix of regular and sweet potato. Next time I would get all sweet potato. Will definately return.

A bit pricey, but the food was very fresh and good portions. I had the lobster roll - about a pound of Maine lobster with almost no (if any) mayo on the traditional roll. Excellent. Wife had ahi tuna on a salad. which was very good as well. The menu is rather limited and not overly creative, but well executed. The best part of the place is the service. It's really as if you're at their home for a meal. We even left with a ceramic turtle as a parting gift. I must say that's a first. Super nice couple that own the place definitely take pride in what they do. We'll be back soon.

Live in Hobe Sound and have been going there for dinner for years. Best seafood around. Flash and his wife, Anita, run a clean, friendly place. The specials are pricy, but you get a lot of food for your $. Best lobster roll around, and the entries are excellent. There are more expensive restaurants in HS, but none better.

Food is good. Wine selection, leaves a lot to be desired. However, it's due to the poor, poor, service...at least some of us locals... will have a hard time returning....

Very nice place you want interesting, mid range priced food with a relaxed and cool atmosphere. Nice that they have a couple of local brews on tap. Gumbo special was great and my ahi tuna burger hit the spot. I am so going back when next in the area.

Family owned. Casual, beachy and laid back. Spear caught fresh blackened snapper seasoned magically to hypnotize your palette and disappear with the grilled veggies and rice....you leave applauding, feeling enchanted and completely satisfied by this unexpected dining experience in Hobe Sound. Bravo!

We were not impressed. The soup and the salad dressing was very salty. The service was fair. My lobster and crabmeat was excellent. My wife's fish was fair. She wanted to take it home but the waiter didn't ask and took it so fast she didn't have a chance to tell him. The cheese cake desert was so bad we had to send it back. The waiter who said he was there only a few months will have a problem once season hits. WE WON'T BE RETURNING

Flash Beach is a small local restaurant with an eclectic menu. It's true, you should never judge a book from it's cover. I believe that this applies to restaurants as well. Located just a mile from the ocean I immediately thought this was just going to be an ordinary lunch. You know the type, overpriced and touristy. Both my dad and I were pleasantly surprised at just how unique this restaurant is. The interior is so cute. Lot's of "beachy" pictures and knick knacks. Sea shells on the tables and a casual Key West vibe. And two large jugs of homemade sangria sitting on top of the bar. Hard to miss when you first walk through the door. The lunch menu consists of soups, salads, sandwiches and fresh fish. You can eat healthy with a great piece of broiled fish or you can have something decadent like fried clams. The choice is yours but you can be assured that whatever you order will be very fresh. Fresh as in caught that same day. My dad had the chicken tortilla soup. I tasted it and it was delicious. I had the spicy Conch Chowder. My soup was delicious and had a lot of conch in it. I wish it had a bit more heat but it still was pretty good. My dad and I shared the open-faced Lobster Roll. The lobster salad had huge pieces of sweet fresh lobster, a little celery and just a bit of mayonnaise to hold it all together. This is one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. Tons of succulent lobster, what's not to love. A combination of assorted fries came with our sandwich. The waffle fries and shoe string fries were good but the sweet potato fries were my favorite. The prices are very fair. Everything is homemade and the ingredients can not be any fresher. The service was excellent. We had a team of two young girls who took great care of us. I am holding back one star because the ladies room was not pretty. I won't go into details but it does need a lot of improvement. If I lived closer I would definitely be a regular. It's a great local place to grab lunch or dinner. Also a cool place to stop in for a drink at the tiki like bar. Next time I plan on trying the homemade sangria. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Smitten! This place is so adorable and I absolutely LOVE it here. Hobe Sound is a sleepy little town and I always make the drive here vs dealing with WPB anything. Driver's license, ticket, passport..... You name it. I choose to come here instead of the massive wait you have to deal with in WPB. Anyway, I was famished and "Yelped" where to grab a bite to eat and found this little gem. So stoked (for you yanks that's VERY happy)! When we first sat down I noticed they had two big containers of some sort of liquid that I immediately said "I want that" and had no idea it was white wine peach sangria....(yes! Mama knows what mama likes ;))The second thing I noticed was the cute little details on our napkins, the walls...everywhere! Somebody obviously cares about this place and cares about how you feel when you're here. We decided on the soup du jour (chicken poblano), blackened tile fish (special) and the Ihuru salad. All were lovely! Again, details! I'm just gonna post the pics and let them speak for themselves. Try this place! Down home, delicious lunch with a humble Florida attitude.

My wife and I were out for an unusual rainy day drive along the coast and luckily stopped here. These people really take pride in their place and food. Everything was prepared perfectly...conch chowder, fried grouper sandwiches, mixed fries with sweet potatoes, a terrific slaw, even the garnishes were special. Iced tea? They had simple sugar in a flask for sweetening on the table! Nice people here. My new favorite road trip for eats!

I am from Long Island where we are spoiled with plentiful fresh seafood and restaurants. We chose this restaurant because of other Yelpers and it's proximity. My wife and I both had the crab crusted Hogfish. It was perfect, and I don't use that word too often. Service excellent, food fantastic, ambience casual and spotless! On the list to go back often.

Very fine establishment! Owner on site and seemed to be very particular that all items (drinks, food, etc) came out to perfection! I had the lobster reuben. FANTASTIC!

Let's start with atmosphere as that was the best thing about this place. Cute beachy feel with atrocious lighting. Why are there no lights for the outdoor tables but yet you need to read the menu. Good thing everyone had cell phones! And all the light wrapped trees (if they had been lit) would have added to the ambience I'm sure. The poor waiter was very harried wearing many hats. Unfortunately this led to less than the stellar service other yelpers had commented on. After waiting an hour (give or take a few minutes) for our food we found the dolphin overcooked, the Panko grouper (while cooked well) was without flavor ( I had to salt & I never salt restaurant food) and the burger run of the mill. Never got the lemon for our water and had to call loudly to the poor waiter to get our check as he was nearly running by. I wanted to give this place a kudos for being a local, upscale, great idea, place. Too bad it fell so short of the mark. They need to step up the kitchen and hire some more waitstaff. Sadly this was a Wednesday night and not really that busy.

While driving on the Dixie Highway, my wife and I decided to stop here for lunch. The device was excellent as well as the food. The waitress was attentive to any if our needs and informed us of the specials that were not listed in the menu. The food quality and quantity was excellent. I never having dolphin before, I loved it. I highly recommend anyone try this!

Great food in a relaxed, casual setting. Good sushi and really good seafood options so definitely try those. Staff is very friendly and the place gives off really good vibes. Offers live entertainment a few nights a week, however sitting outside sometimes gets a little buggy even with all the bug torches burning. I really like this restaurant and highly recommend it to my fellow locals and also to people passing by.

Just a quick tip: be prepared to over pay for dinner. There are better places for less money in and around Hobe and Stuart.

Wonderful tiki style just seconds from the waterfront . Service is delightful. Food is delicious and beautifully plated. We cycled here - however you get here, you will enjoy.

My wife and I got engaged after a dinner at Flash Beach Grille in early 2012 and recently celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary there. I called a week ahead to make our reservation, and asked the staff to creatively help me in making our celebration special. Anita and her team worked with me, were very creative and practical, and exceeded our expectations. They went the extra mile and ensured that our 2nd anniversary will come with very high expectations attached. This was the second phenomenal meal we have had here in the last 18 months, and I highly recommend this spot. I ordered the crab cakes with grilled vegetables, my wife had the sweet snapper, and both were excellent. This would be a Five-Star Rating except that the craft beer selection I was so fond of 18 months ago was extremely limited the second time around.

Stopped in to this restaurant after driving through Jupiter Island, and was impressed from the moment we walked in. The restaurant is clean and brightly decorated, and we were immediately greeted by a server who invited us to sit wherever we chose. We arrived just as happy hour started, scoring $3 Coronas and $9 sliders. My husband tried the Cobia, blackened, and I had the lobster bisque. Everything we tried was excellent, and our server Patricia was very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth the 35-45 minute drive from Delray.
